Somewhere over the rainbow...you may even find a farmer's market!

Hello lovely people!

I wanted to share this artist, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole' with you, I've renewed my love for his music.  It's really cheered me up as I say goodbye once again to friends that I love very much, who live on the other side of the world and were here for a very fleeting week.

I love his rendition of Over the Rainbow

Although we have the internet, phone calls, skype, facebook, email...it is still so sad and hard to farewell friends and family you know you won't see in person for a while. A few people I love were here to celebrate the wedding of a friend, but left today.  I'm so sad.  It'll be ok in a few days but it is always so hard to see them and then know I won't see them for ages.

In other news, Lavender has become an almost fully fledged member of the Bok Flock  :)  Because she, just the like the others, stood out in the pouring rain today, getting completely drenched.  I also caught Astrid trying to scale the fence yesterday to get out of the garden!!  Naughty chook!

Yesterday I went to the Collingwood Children's Farm Farmers Market - I try to go every month as the produce is so varied and wonderful.  Plus now that my vegies are pretty much over for now (other than the monster eggplant which just keeps giving...).  I love the farm, we've had Miss Bok's birthday party there every year for the last 5 years.

I am so planting lots of sunflowers next Spring!

I bought a spaghetti squash!  Can't wait to eat it! And grow it next Spring :)

This market was the first time I've tried fresh pistachios. They were delicious!
Hmm can't say chai tea has ever helped me with a hangover...not that I'd ever
have cause to have one of those of course LOL!

I went to the most beautiful wedding later that day.

instead of a guest signing book they had a wedding tree of everyone's fingerprints

Tomorrow is a public holiday! Yee har!  Am so glad I'm not going to work tomorrow :)
