  14. Winter Wednesdays! A world away, we are sweltering in the heat, 90+ (F). I am so glad that you decided to keep hens again. Your son seems to be quite enjoying his new friend--probably works both ways. And I love the word "chook" I've taken to referring to ours as chooks. My husband asked what a chook was. i introduced him to Mrs. Bok and her flock.

    The henhouse should be ready this weekend so I'll post some pics when it's up.
    Feel a bit guilty for loving the new chicks so soon after losing my old flock but I knew if I didn't get more soon, I probably wouldn't have gotten a new flock at all.
