Where I blog

Thought I'd share my quiet corner with you.  It's where I work, where I blog, where I draw (badly) and where I like to sit and watch the bees and the snails (yes snails!) in my roses.

I love peonies - they bloom for such a short season.

You see!  Snails in my (rather wilted) rose outside the window!

  4. Oh, so neat, so white, so you...I don't believe that the Little Boks are feral...either you have them tamed or isolated in pens.

  6. Thanks guys :)

Mel I love it too - an actual hot air balloon could be part of your adventures!

Greenthumb, I have no idea how to grow peonies but I would love to. They are so beautiful.

Hi Daff, hope you've got some flowers inside to cheer you up. HUGS!

Hazel your comment made me laugh so much! Pens for kids sounds like a fabulous idea! Maybe we could market it...? It just so happens that Master Bok (2) has drawn all over the floors and walls again tonight (for the fifth time) but I love crayola washable textas - they just wipe off! And Miss Bok loves to clean for snacks ;)

Georgie, I got my balloon from jasper junior in Melbourne city. I'm sure they'd send you one..they come in loads of colours, pastels and primarys and they have a lovely hanging mobile too.

  8. Thank you so much for coming to visit and for the lovely comment you left! I'm so excited to be able to return your visit, especially since a wonderful blogging friend who lives in Washington is very eager to get her own chickens. I'm going to send her your link. She currently holidaying with family, so I doubt she'll visit before she gets back home. Her name is Alison and she authors Bonney Lassie, a really wonderful blog. You may want to pay her a visit in the meantime!

I love your quiet computing/creative time spot! It's beautiful and calm looking in shades of white and the flowers are gorgeous! I also love your sense of humour!

  15. Lovely, Calm, Peaceful, Clean, Fresh and so Pretty, not an ounce of clutter in your way. Makes for a clear mind! I sit at my office desk when I blog and look at all the other things I really should be doing. I think I may need to find a tranquil spot like this, complete with fresh flowers... :)

  21. So beautiful!

I would show you a photo of my blogging station too, but Little D just drew all over the desk with laundry marker and stuffed random things into a half full drink glass :) Apart from that, it's immaculate*

*for varying definitions of immaculate that include large piles of paperwork and a thick layer of dust ;P

  23. Oh to have a peaceful spot. I resort to blogging from my bedroom, the only spot I can (sometimes) escape the chaos. The only problem is that Miss Two can open the door, Baby Good seems to be psychic and knows when I sit down and open the laptop so decided to wake up, and I hide all the washing, clean or dirty in here when visitors come so it's hard to find a vacant spot to sit. For now I'll just imagine I have a spot like your's until either the kids grow up or we get a bigger house.
