Hi everyone!
We've been following the news in Japan along with everyone else and being unable to do anything other than send wishes and prayers, we've donated a shelter box as well.
If you are looking for ways to help:
http://www.shelterboxaustralia.com.au/
Each shelter box "supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and essential equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless. The contents are tailored depending on the nature and location of the disaster, with great care taken sourcing every item to ensure it is robust enough to be of lasting value."
Thank you for sending that great aid to the devastated people!
ReplyDeleteMost of them lost their homes and evacuated in schools, city halls but they are so crowded with many evacuated people.
Your shelter is very helpful for them, I believe!
Arigato-Gozaimasu!
Hi Takaeko, i keep thinking about all the homeless and where they'll live in such freezing temperatures. When we had bushfires here, the army set and volunteer organisations set up loads of heavy tents like these, people lived in them for months. Japan is always in my thoughts, I really love your country.
