However in this household it is devastatingly sad.
Bok Choy didn't cope well with the heat so I brought her inside to try and improve her well being.
This morning she succumbed and passed away.
I can't tell you how upset I am.
How am I going to tell the children??

ReplyDeleteOh I am so sorry Mrs Bok! The littlies are very vulnerable to the heat. We tend to bring our young ´uns in on those scorcher days. Somewhere I have a photo of my HH asleep on the sofa with mummy chooky perched on his knee and two little one week old pekin bantams asleep on his stomach. There was also one dog using his foot as a pillow and the other trying to get as much belly touching the cool floor as possible.
